Our client based in Battersea, is looking for a Head Chef to build and grow its kitchen team.
Successful candidates will initially be required to be hands on, as the kitchen requires a lot of organisation, and must be a good people manager and someone who is interested in developing their brigade.
Our client currently operates a team of 4 in the kitchen, including a part time KP, and 5 service staff. There will be occasional need to use Agency workers for larger events.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all Food Safety, cleaning, menu costing & development, catering for events, freshly made bakery products, ordering, service standards front of house and training of staff.
The menu is your typical brasserie style food for adults and children , freshly prepared with quality ingredients, it is cooked to order so requires good prep and organisational skills.
Salary for the right person between 28k - 30k, dependant on experience. 5 shifts out of 7.
This is a demanding role and applicants must have at least 3 years experience as a Head Chef.
As this is a family environment, Chefs must be able to work with children as well as adults. CRB checked preferred.
