Our client is a Hotel based in the London Bridge area. It is part of a Group of Hotels looking for a chef to help out in the kitchen.
This is a basic role, and covers split shifts including breakfasts and dinner. Approximate working week 30 hours.
Duties include:
Assist in the daily running of the Kitchen to ensure that Group standards are maintained.
2. Cook dishes to company specifications at all times.
3. Assist the Head Chef to achieve targets and follow procedures for stock control and wastage.
Ensure all health & safety, food safety, hygiene, fire and security policies are followed everyday.
Ensure all products and equipment are maintained, used and stored correctly to assist in the control of Food & Beverage costs.
Ordering, accepting and storing the food deliveries.
Successful Candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
· Good communication skills, written and verbal.
· Passionate about food and cooking.
· Be flexible in work patterns and methods able to do a double shift.
· Good time keeping.
· Be able to work as part of a team.
· Good level of personal hygiene.
· Attention to detail.
Salary: £7 per hour. Potential for promotion within the Company at a later date.
